Choke beans are usually used in positive throttle valves to control flow and are usually installed on or near wellhead equipment. High pressure gas/oil and abrasive sand minerals pass through these throttle valves at high speed, resulting in rapid wear. The bean choke contains a replaceable insert, or bean, made of hardened steel or similar durable material.

Description
